March 26 (Reuters) – The Ukraine battle has been characterised by drone deployment of an unprecedented scale.
Hundreds of unmanned aerial autos (UAVs) have been despatched into the skies above the battlefield by each side, enabling pilots to remotely observe enemy actions, information artillery and precisely drop explosives – each close by and lots of of kilometres away, deep in rival territory.
Reuters analysed greater than 50 movies of drone assaults, collated UAV analysis and spoke to over a dozen producers, troopers and officers to create an interactive graphic displaying how the know-how is reworking the face of warfare.
